Who's ready for Spring?

I think we're all ready to get out and get some fresh air. The dogs have been couped up in the house too long. Living in the Midwest, sure makes for a long winter. Everyone needs to get out and run around (and not for just one day). Well the groundhog did say 6 more weeks of winter. Can't come too soon for us.

Hanna has been stuck inside too long for a Jack Russell. This winter has been cold. She has soooo much energy and needs to run. I worry about letting her out by herself. We have seen coyotes in the yard and Hanna thinks she's a though girl. She brought me a frozen squirrel head this morning.

Just thinking.....We've had so much snow this year, there are layers and layers of poop in the yard. Wait until the thaw. EEEEWWWWW. Not looking forward to that!!!

Tip of the week - Bathing your Dog

Bathing your dog often is not recommended as your dog has natural oils in his hair and skin. Too many baths can dry out his skin and cause problems and rashes.
You might need to give your puppy more baths in the begining because he will most likely have accidents until he is potty trained. A natural mild oatmeal dog shampoo will keep his skin from drying.
